Thanks to tailgating, DirectTV, sports bars and your local grocery store; any weight we’ve lost since February will be back by December, but who cares?
More over, the NFL means we’ve got to crack open the piggy bank for weekly office pools (gaming purposes only).
And, of course, it means we all get to welcome back those lovely cheerleaders who give us something to watch when there’s a break in action.
It’s with them in mind we present the following for your viewing pleasure.
The NFL’s Top 10 Cheerleading Squads
10. Cincinnati Bengals
The Ben-Gals are in charge of rejuvenating the crowd after an opponent scores on defense. That alone gets them on this list.
9. Arizona Cardinals
These girls heat things up between plays, which is hard to do considering they’re already in the middle of the desert.
8. New England Patriots
The Patriots have pretty much been the best team in the NFL for years, and their cheerleaders are no different. They recently traveled to Beijing to help train the dancers and cheerleaders who performed during the recent Summer Olympics.
7. San Francisco 49ers
The Goldrush Squad is arguably more popular than the actual football team … and rightfully so.
6. Denver Broncos
The Mile High Squad rarely gets props, but that’s what we’re giving them right now. Not only do these girls put on a show in the nasty Denver conditions, but you can also find them visiting our troops around the world.
5. Carolina Panthers
The Topcats are the talk of the town in Carolina, and they’re quite the bit of eye candy for anyone traveling to Bank of America Stadium for a Panthers game.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I think things would’ve been very different if Tampa Bay introduced Brett Favre to this group of ladies and shown him a picture of the New York Jets’ squad.
3. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowgirls have traditionally been the face of cheerleading in the NFL. I guess cheering for America’s Team has its benefits.
2. San Diego Chargers
The Charger Girls have their own “Making the Squad” DVD, multitudes of calendars and they do a fine job of entertaining fans who already have so much to cheer for for living in San Diego.
1. Miami Dolphins
It’s kind of ironic that last year’s worst team is home to the league’s hottest cheerleading squad. Then again, what else would you expect out of Miami?

Kudos to the Denver Ladies! Saw them perform in Iraq and they were so much fun. They were really cool and hung out awhile with the people who lined up to see them. They took us away for a few hours; it really made a big difference. And I’m a New England fan/native! So, I’m glad the Pats’ Ladies are on the list too.

the redskins cheerleaders have been leading the pack in hotness and skimpiest outfits for the last few years now, and they are not even anywhere to be found in this list.

Good list, but you really messed up by leaving the Eagles Cheerleaders off the list. They publish a yearly lingerie calendar for Pete’s sake!
The only times the TopCats get talked about in the Carolinas are when fans complain about why our cheerleaders don’t have as much “talent” as the rest of the league. They’ve upgraded this season, but still shouldn’t come close to cracking the top 10.
What a joke on your picks! What about Football’s Fabulous Females, the Raiderettes. They are so much better than some of those that you listed. You may need to get your eyes checked!!!!
I’ll agree with anyone who thinks the Redskins should be #1. I am not even a Redskins fan, but they should be at the top of this list, and they aren’t even on it.
If it makes anyone feel better, had I gone Top 12, the girls from Oakland and Philadelphia would’ve been it....well, maybe after Houston.
Just happy to see that you didn’t throw the Bills Cheerleaders on this list. Most of them don’t even have all their teeth.

Yeah, I have to agree with Collin there… I’m a Panther’s fan and if you’ve got the Top Cats in the top 10, you must be smokin’ some crack… for all the hot women in Charlotte, the Top Cats just don’t cut it… there are far better squads out there. The Eagles Cheerleaders come to mind…
Is anybody home?? Not only should the Eagles squad make the list, they should be #1. As a New Yorker who DESPISE philadelphia sports teams, this is no small praise.
Of course the Cowboy cheerleaders are the face of cheerleading in the NFL. They were the first cheerleading squad in the NFL.
Folks I’m from Atlanta. Only been to Philadelphia a few times and I have no loyalty to the town or the Eagles. BUT, the fact that the Eagles cheer squad didn’t rank high on this list is an absolute crime. Anyone see their efforts in the rain during the Panthers preseason game. These girls have it going on even when they are soaking wet.
Dude - Washington and Philadelphia have to be on the list. Otherwise, this thing is a fraud.
How you include Cincy, San Fran and Arizona on this list, and leave off Philly, Washington and Oakland is beyond me.

No Redskins or Eagles? What an injustice! Remove the Bengals and the Panthers, they can’t hold a candle to the Eagles and the Redskins cheerleaders!
I live in Indiana and see the Colts cheerleaders enough to know that they do not deserve to be in the top 10. I’ve only seen the Eagles cheerleaders a handful of times and all I have to say is “WOW”. How are they not in the top 2? Check out their calendars and you’ll see what I mean.

The 1st ladies of football - the Redskinettes are #1. They are HOT, talented and wear skimpy uni’s. And James N. - wrong the Skins squad was the 1st cheerleaders in the NFL.
I banged 2 Eagles cheerleaders at the same time...so technically you left me off of the list, which is a crime.
The Eagles cheerleaders still wear stupid Reebok tennis shoes. That alone should kick them off the list.
I’m a diehard Bengal fan and I agree with the others that you need to remove the Bengal cheerleaders from this list and add the Eagles.

Sure we may look really bad scoring, or at least trying to score touchdowns, but check them out, the Dolphins cheerleaders are by far the hottest group and you did right, I just hope it wasn’t to appease us, the DolFans.
I actually tried to get a uniform for my girlfriend, but nay, you have to earn it, oh well, too bad I wasn’t a better seamstress.

I live in North Carolina and would NOT put the Panthers cheerleaders on the list. Aside from the two that got caught playing spin the bottle in the bathroom, the squad is nothing special. The Redskins are a different story. They should be #1 on the list.
I must vehemently disagree with some of your choices and omissions. Your most blatant mistake is the exclusion from your list of the cheerleading squads for the Eagles, Redskins, Seahawks, Texans, Chiefs, and Raiders. The Redskins and Eagles cheerleaders are gorgeous, and their uniforms are basically two-piece swimsuits. The Seattle Sea Gals don’t receive much media coverage, but they are one of the best-looking cheerleading squads in the NFL, in my opinion, with lots of beautiful blondes on the squad. The Chiefs cheerleaders are also underappreciated, not receiving much notice from the media. Both the Seahawks and Chiefs cheerleaders wear awesome uniforms as well. The Houston Texans cheerleaders are at least as beautiful as their famous counterparts in Dallas.
Furthermore, the most beautiful cheerleaders in the NFL are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders. I’m sorry, but I resolutely stand by this opinion.
Why aren’t the Eagles Girls called the “ Spread Eagles” wouldn’t that get more attention?
I am a Dolphin fan and agree of the fins in the top-3, but you missed the boat by excluding the Houston Texans Cheerleaders,
best uniforms + hottest women = your #1 squad.
Are you kidding me?! A great injustice has been committed here. This list is a fraud, how can you not include the Redskins and the Eagles? Both squads have beautiful, exotic women. The Patriots definitely should’nt be on the list.

Gotta have Philly on the list. Just drop the Bengals off your list, move everybody down one, and put the Eagles at the top. Fewer complaints that way.

Check out the Skins cheerleaders--they are old and look like cheap hookers?!! For real, they are NOT in the top 5. The Eagles do deserve to be there, but I’m from Philly and still wouldn’t rank them top 3 .

I cannont take any list seriously that
A: Calls the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders the Cowgirls. Any idiot knows they don’t go by that name.
B: Has the Bengals cheerleaders on it. I’m a Bengals fan but they are a bunch of butterfaces.
C: Does not have the Texans, Redskins or Eagles on it.
This list SUCKS. It doesn’t have the Colt’s Cheerleaders on it… GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
